Can excessive anxiety with no physical symptoms be uncontrollable?

Im 17 and for the past 10 months ive suffered from anxiety for no reason. Relaxing didnt seem to help it nor did facing the anxiety. I dont have anything boyhering my head but i always get anxious feelings for no reason. I realize the anxiety is pointless but that wont stop it. Can anxiety disorder be alone a medical problem that requires medicine or will i continue to struggle with this until i die. Like i said i have no physical symptoms. I sleep well, the anxiety is mostly menyal anxious feelings for no reason.
